Mr. Bill Roux
Ascension Parish Department of Public Works
42077 Church Point Road
Gonzales, La. 70737
Dear Sir:
It seems as if your Public Works Department is its own worse enemy when
it comes to road signs.
As of lately, the
D.P.W. has been doing a good job of installing more road signs warning motorists
of impending danger. But, your grass cutting crews are damaging those signs
negating your efforts to improve motorist’s safety.
To be very blunt,
both employees, and supervision of those employees, need to be made aware of the
damage they are carelessly creating, needless expense they are occurring, the
very real possibility of subjecting un-expecting motorists to injury or death,
and warned of severe discipline if the damage persists.
Sincerely,
Chuck Le Mieux
