Sheriff Wiley,
I applaud your effort for installing the mobile speed indication unit. It is
a step in the right direction, albeit a very small step.
This is the first positive effort I have seen in the eight years I have lived
here.
Hopefully this is just the beginning of a much more concentrated effort on
your part to enforce traffic laws. I base my observation on the need for more
strict traffic law enforcement on the basis of the horrific and shameful fact
that 104 persons have been killed on Ascension Parish roads from 1995 through
1999.
