Placards placed as to warn of the drop off due to the bridge being wider than the road.

Warning placards have also been installed further to the south in the vicinity of the sharp turn east where a traffic fatality occurred in May.


There have been 281 traffic deaths from 1995 through 2007 on Ascension Parish roads
