Re: C. Braud Road in Prairieville

Dear Sir:

I would like to formally request an investigation with regards to the maximum weight limit capable of being supported on C. Braud Road in Prairieville.

It has been brought to my attention that tractor-trailer tanker rigs are using this particular road to bypass Highway 73 south because they are carrying hazardous cargo, which is prohibited on Highway 73 because of the Dutchtown schools situated there.

This road is not capable of two-way traffic at certain sections when it pertains to a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle traveling in opposite directions, thus causing a serious safety hazard.

Your immediate attention to this serious matter would be greatly appreciated.

This letter and any attachments have been published to the web site http://inascension.com on the “Our Roads” page.

Sincerely,

Chuck Le Mieux
