Much needed safety improvements have been made to the bridge at the junction of Chester Diez and Cornerview.
According to
Parish President Harold Marchand, "It was recommended by
DPW and the Road Committee................This was a planned project due to
the accidents that were occurring at the corner. And the Buses were having a
very hard time turning with other traffic in the lanes. Chambers Construction
was the Contractor that build this the extension."
