Parents be sure to tell your children every day how much you love and care for them. There might come the time when you may not be able to.
GOODBYE SWEET ANGEL

Goodbye Sweet Angel, I'm going to miss you so-
I don't understand the reasons why but I know that you must go
God has called you home my love and taken you in his embrace-
Still I long so desperately to gaze upon your lovely face
We rest easier knowing your body's no longer in pain-
And I promise you my darling your life was not lived in vain
How blessed were those who knew you- your kindness and your love-
Perhaps that is why God has summoned you to spread your wealth above
You fought a courageous battle-but one that took it's toll-
Though you tried so hard to stay with us, it was not in your control
There is a greater plan it seems and you play a crucial part-
For God was in need of an Angel who was so pure of heart
We find comfort in our love for you and peace in precious memories-
I thank God your at rest now and your troubled spirit free
Do not worry my Sweet Angel that you will be alone-
For there are angels there to greet you and show you the way home
Sleep now Sweet Angel, your work on earth is through-
Having loved you will enrich us and guide us in all we do
Sleep now Sweet Angel, and worry not what's left behind-
Knowing you are not alone has helped to ease our minds
Goodbye Sweet Angel, you are now in Gods loving grace-
Your life has touched so many and there is none that could take your place
I WILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS, STEPH

The story goes that some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Never the less, the little girl brought the gift to her farther the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." He was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty. He yelled at her, "Don't you know when you give someone a present, there's supposed to be something inside it?"
The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty, I blew a kiss into the box, All for you, Daddy." The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness.
An accident took the life of the child only a short time later and it is told that the man kept the gold box by his bed for many years and whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.
In a very real sense, each of us as humans, have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, friends, or family. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.
To the East Ascension Class of 2000
We apologize for those in charge at East Ascension High who were too uncaring, even after numerous requests, to make this thank you letter available to you. Hopefully enough of you will see this and pass it on to those who don't.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you the class of 2000. Although we had Anna for such a short while she enriched our lives with her generous heart and vibrant spirit. We are left with an immense void that nothing can ever fill. However it comforts us to know that in the end she was surrounded by the love and support of her family and friends. It will not be an easy task to see the the class of 2000 graduate without our Anna in the crowd. We hope that each of you will go on to lead a full and enriched life and we pray that at least some of you will carry a little bit of our Anna with you throughout your life. Words cannot accurately express what we feel, so perhaps it's best to just say thank you.

I HAD TO GO AWAY
by
Kimberly Ann Kerek
Sorrento, La.
I had to go away.
I'm sorry you couldn't come with me.
But on earth is where you shall stay.
Please do not be sad.
Instead laugh and be glad.
I'm in a beautiful place, such a beautiful place.
I know you wont see me for a while.
But you will hear from me.
I will be the wind that will chill you on a hot summer day.
I will be the sun that will warm you when it's cold.
Listen to the birds sing, I will be saying "I love you" in their song.
I know you can't touch me.
But you will feel me.
Because I will be inside of you giving you life on the days you feel like you
can't go on anymore.
Please I beg of you, go on, live your life as I lived mine.
Always remember we will be together again.
I will be patiently waiting for you on that day.
When you will join me in this beautiful place.
Until then may God bless you with his almighty grace.

He Only Takes The Best
God saw she was getting
tired
and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around her
and whispered. "Come with Me."
With tear-filled eyes we
watched
her suffer and fade away.
Although we loved her deeply,
we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped
beating,
hard working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
Happy Birthday Anna
