To: Louisiana’s Senators & House of Representatives Dear Sirs and Madams, Our state along with others is spending billions on illegals as the articles below will bear out. Other states have passed state laws to deal with this problem with success. To name a few Arkansas, Colorado, and Pennsylvania. They have done this mainly by passing state laws making it a felony to hire or rent to illegals. Some states will not allow any type of identification to be issued to illegals which includes driver’s licenses. As we are getting little or no help the federal government on this matter it is time for Louisiana to implement its own state laws. Hopefully you will take this matter into serious consideration and pass laws that will stop this waste of tax payer’s money on illegals. The Federal Immigration and Nationality ActSection 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii) states that “State and local law enforcement officials have the general power to investigate and arrest violators of federal immigration statutes without prior INS knowledge or approval, as long as they are authorized to do so by state law.”
1. $11 Billion to $22
billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year.

Subject: Letter to Louisiana's Senate & House about illegals
Second letter to the Louisiana Senate & House which I like to refer to as Vitter's folly To: Louisiana Senate & House et al
Dear Sirs &
Madams,
Last week I
received a letter from Senator Vitter boasting about yet another waste of time
called the
U.S. Senate Border
Security and Enforcement First Caucus.
When will he and
the others on this so called caucus understand that illegal immigration at the
federal level just can't work. Put two senators together to work out a problem
ends up with something so convoluted that it takes a sea lawyer to figure it
out and in the end doesn't work anyway.
I suggest that
instead of federal enforcement that the federal government give the states the
authority and funding to round up illegals and turn them over to ICE for
deportation. This makes more sense as we already have the law enforcement
agencies in place and better know how to implement them.
Please take the
time to contact Mr. Vitter and demand giving the states the authority and
funding required to rid our state of illegals once and for all.
Since its inception each
generation has left this country better off than the previous generation.
EXCEPT FOR THIS GENERATION. And that's from the White House to the outhouse. I'd hate to be here to find out what the next generation brings.
